Trinidad Wellness Festival Schedule

Experience a city-wide celebration of health and community. All Session/Activities listed below are FREE unless otherwise noted. The Trinidad Trolley runs continuously during Hub hours to take you between our local businesses, parks, and the Festival Hub. Your Seeker XP Digital Passport is active all weekend—scan codes at every stop to earn points toward prizes!

PACK YOUR TOYS! Don’t forget, NATURE is on tap in Trinidad, Colorado throughout the Festival. We invite you to Hike Fisher’s Peak, try your hand at our famous Gravel trails (Trinidad is an official RAD Fest Race location for last several years), Kayak or Paddleboard Trinidad Lake (or join me for relaxing Wellness Float on Saturday night with the almost Full Moon), or hit one of the many lakes within 40 minutes for some amazing fishing options – see Fishers Peak Outfitters to learn about local fly fishing! Bird watcher or nature photography buff? You will find that special photo to remind you of this amazing wellness weekend!


Friday, May 29: The Opening

    • All ages and abilities WELCOME. This 5K Walk/Run takes place on the Boulevard Trail of Trinidad’s Riverwalk.     • Join Trinidad Lake State Park staff as we welcome Cliff Wiening, Professor of Biology, Trinidad State College as we explore the general world of entomology, we will be discussing life cycles, foraging, reproduction and general importance of both beneficial and harmful insects and other arthropods. Insect collections will be on display and some hands-on activities will be included.
  • 8:00 PM – 10:00 | Wellness on the Water: Festival Full Moon Eve Float
    • Location: Trinidad Lake State Park, South Shore
    • State Park Pass Required. PACK YOUR Kayaks, Paddleboards, Floats (nothing motorized per park regulations) and join members of Wellness Trinidad (501c3 and organizer or the Trinidad Wellness Festival) for a beautiful Wellness float at Trinidad Lake State Park under the light of an ALMOST Full Moon! Nothing fancy. Just appreciating the moment in nature together with a quick meditation of gratitude. For those not from here, you’ll get a little taste of our small town vibe. And of course, take advantage of the blended energy of the water and the moon — great for setting intention! Note: This is NOT affiliated with the Float Event taking place Sunday, May 31. Sorry, no rentals available for this event. We tried, but weren’t able to make it happen.

Sunday, May 31: Reflection & The Full Moon

    • A quiet ride and hike to take in the sounds and scents of nature, generously organized and led by our partners, Trinidad Trails Alliance, featuring Joe Kozlowicz of Tarantula Cycles as your guide. Youth Club is providing bikes for those who need one! Participants will need to sign waiver.
  • 9:30 AM | Sound Healing Meditation

    • Nourish your spirit with meditation followed by vibrant, mindfully prepared flavors.
